The Nature Conservancy
Adriana Soto is the Director of the Northern Andes and South Central American Conservation Program at The Nature Conservancy and former Minister of the Environment of Colombia. She is an economist and an expert in climate change adaptation. Ms. Soto’s work at the Colombian Ministry of the Environment involved coordinating Colombia’s first national projects related to climate change adaptation. As a consultant for the World Bank and Wildlife Conservation Society Ms. Soto advised on reducing the environmental impact of the livestock industry. Her current work at The Nature Conservancy focuses on developing strategies for sustainable water resources.
